While replacing my air filter, i accidentally dropped a 10mm socket on a small extension and it went in the hole that's in my air filter compartment. I tried to reach in there to get it but it seems it's in too deep. I tried to get it out with a magnet extension but still can't seem to locate it. How far could it go in? Where does it go? What kind of damage can it do? How much will it affecct the airflow?

If it is below the air filter, it probably dropped into the fender well, or chassis somewhere and should have no affect. You might be able to rattle it around and bvring it completely to the floor by using a blowgun and compressed air if possible. Otherwise you may lose it.
