P1516 is Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) Module Throttle Actuator Position Performance. Are any other dtc's set, like P2108, U0107 set along with DTC P0120, P0220, P2120, or P2125. If none of these codes are set just p1516 replace the throttle body. Post back with any other questions.

Thanks for the reply. No other codes were set, only the P1516. The check engine light was only on yesterday and went back off today and has not come back on. I checked again and the code is still present, but the check engine light is out. Tonight, I erased the code and will check again over the next couple of days.

After several cycles over the last week or so of only the P1516 code, I now have P1516 and P0121.

Replace the throttle body then. Post back with what you find.
