I purchased a 2002 pontiac firebird trans am v8 5.7 engine 6 moths ago. Yesterday the "check engine soon" light turned on, this morning when I started the car the message is still there. What do I do?

Take it to autozone or a dealership and have it scanned for trouble codes and post them back and I will help you.

Autozone does it for free.
