Within recent months my Firebird has begun to lose speed whilst driving down the road even when there was no change in acceleration. The engine also began to stall after sitting idle too long. It starts right back up which is a relief but within the last week it started jerking while driving down the road and the engine stalled afterwards. But only yesterday it started jerking again while driving down the road and I wasn't able to accelerate. The engine kept running but the car started to smell of rotten eggs. During these times the Check Engine Soon light never comes on.
