I have a manual switch. The air is stuck on the settin that splits it between defrost and floor as that is where I had it in the winter.

It will not switch to the dash vents. I've tried banging under the glove box to see if it would jiggle something in the switch or doors to make them move and it hasn't worked.

Any suggestions?

If there is an actuator that is vacuum controlled, check the vacuum source.

Thank you. We finally found it. It was the 3 way vacuum check valve located in the engine compartment closest to the firewall on the passenger side. It was cracked. Repair cost $6.00 part in stock at NAPA.
