does the 98 trans am have a fuel pump reset button or when u can't hear the pump i need to replace the pump ?my son ran out of gas and i started it and then it turn off then i could not turn it on >and can't hear the pump anymore

No reset for the fuel pump
add gas check fuses and fuel pump relay
suspect fuel pump inside the tank

try to hit the mid of fuel tank as a helper trying to start some time that will get you going so you can take it home or to a shop
