After doing research, I believe I have a bad body control module. I get random dings, the radio turns on and off, I hear clicking from the general area of the BCM, and the interior lights won't turn off.

I had had trouble with my daytime running lights working correctly and heard the same clicking noise when it happened, so I changed the BCM with one from a junk yard and it fixed the issue.

Everything was fine until a few weeks ago when the above symptoms started happening.

I believe I have a short or some kind of electrical problem because the engine misfires temporarily when it rains.

So my question is, could some other electrical problem cause the BCM to burn up? I dont want to buy a new one just to have it go bad again. Any other suggestions?

Ok no these do go bad. Now you can get one from a salvage or wrecking yard too. If you would like to test it first then all you will need is a digital multi meter and I can walk you through it. Let me know what you want to do.
