Engine Cooling problem
1993 Pontiac Firebird V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My car is overheating when stationary. I notice that the
cooling fan only comes on when I turn on the A/C can you
tell me if I need to replace the thermo switch? If I do pls. Tell me where is it located at.

the fan is controled by the coolent temp sensor there is 2 of them on your car one is the driver side head and the other is on the water pump the one on the head is the one you need
