I have a probelm with a new catalyic converter glowing orange I had to replace the egr because it burned out and I replace that and found out it was the old converter was bad I installed it correctly and now have a probelm with it glowing orange I was told from my brother that it could be out of time or and injection coulld be bad or the muffler catback could be clogged also

Are you saying that your converter is getting hot enough to glow orange? If so, this is a new one to me.

I've been in Dyno booths and have seen entire exhaust systems glowing orange. But that's with the motors running at sustained r.P.M.S of 5,000+.

If yours is glowing like that all the time, I'd say raw fuel is pouring into your exhaust. But if that's the case, Your engine should run like crap, all the time. And you'd get constant backfires as well.

You should take your car to an exhaust specialist.
