I have a 1969 Pontiac Firebird with a stock 350 engine equipped with an Edelbrock 4 barrel Carb. The car lacks power at all speeds and becomes extremely rough at 60 MPH. If I flutter the accelarator I can get it past the near stall but for safety reasons this problem must be corrected. I replaced the fuel filter with no noticable difference.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum, how long since a tune-up? I have seen a faulty coil cause a high speed cutout, can't be sure that is your problem? Don't know much about edelbrock carbs. Edelbrock has their own web site, you might talk to the site techs, if you think it might be a carb issue.
