I had my "check engine"light and was told that number one cylinder was misfiring.I have change the spark plugs but that hasn't solved the problem. What else could it be?

Hi:
It could be a problem with a plug wire, coil, or fuel injector. If you remove the plug, is it saturated with fuel? Can you feel the miss when driving and does it happen all the time or once in a while?
