Ok so heres the background 3800 plastic intake explosion have replaced the upper intake the fuel rail all the injector orings the map sensor put it all back togather now it has a miss at idle flashing check engine light and a horrible smell from the exhaust rotten eggs I know is cat but this is more the just a cat any ideas would be helpful

Have the computer scanned at a nationally recognized parts store for trouble codes. Most will do it for free.

As far as the smell, it sounds like it's running rich.

Let me know what you find.

Ok so this is what happens when your cold tired and in a hurry trying to work on a car YOU MAKE MISTAKES luckily this one was minor crossed number 2 and 4 plug wires duhhhhhhhhhhhhh also found a few vacuum leaks on those lovely plastic lines thanks for the reply
