1990 Pontiac Bonneville heater fan

The Heater fan in my 90 Bonneville constantly runs. I just bought the car and I have to disconnect the batery because the fan runs even when the car is off. Also when the car runs the air conditioning pump/motor keeps kicking on and off randomly

Does it stay on in high position or in any speed position? Could be faulty control switch or the blower motor itself may be bad. Don't forget to check the wiring, especially ground wire, to the blower motor.
