P0181 - Fuel temperature sensor a circuit range/performance.

Diagnostic fault codes never say to replace a part or that one is bad. They only indicate the circuit or system that needs further diagnosis. Normally when a part is referenced in a fault code, it is actually the cause of that code about half of the time, but temperature sensors have an extremely low failure rate because there is just one component inside them. While it is always possible for a temperature sensor to fail, it is much more likely you are going to find a wiring or connector terminal problem.
