95 Voyager SE with code 41 problem

Hi all,

I have a 95 Voyager SE 3 speed automatic with overdirve with 300 kms on it.

The "Check Engine" light came on my van. After a few minutes, the battery warning light and the check gages light came on. Since I was using my wipers at that time, I noticed that it was running slow and it would cut off the radio when the wiper was moving. It totally lost power when I arrived home. I was able to restart it after about 30 mins and was able to bring it to the shop. There a check of the ECM showed a code 41.

Appreciate any thoughts on the problem.

41=Charging system, alternator, so I would check the alternator. And battery and connections.

Thanks a lot. It turned out to be the alternator. Unfortunately, my belt tensioner had some problems too so they needed to replace it.
