We just replaced the Transmission output speed sensor, and now the battery light comes on a few minutes after starting. Sometimes it is 30 seconds, sometimes as much as 5 minutes. It starts fine, with no hesitation, and runs fine.

What that is telling you is that the charging system is not working during that period that the light is on. It could be an indication of the alternator or PCM starting to fail.
