1973 Other Plymouth Models weak battery

Hi There.I have a 73 Ply roadrunner with a built 318. My question is. Can a weak starter make the battery seem weak or dead.

A weak battery will make the starter turn over slowly. And a faulty starter could turn over slowly with the symptoms of a weak battery. A battery needs 12.5 volts to turn over engine. If you have 12.5 volts in your battery probably the starter is faulty. Hope this helps
