2000 Plymouth Neon P1899 fault code

Recently my engine check light came on and would only go out if I filled the gas tank completly, put a heavy load in the car or let the gas tank go completly empty. When I went in to get a smog test it failed due to fault code p1899 (Park/Neutral switch) What can I do to fix this if anything

DTC P1899:P/N SWITCH STUCK IN PARK OR IN GEAR
Most likely culprits are faulty PNP Switch wire harness, faulty PNP switch, open PNP switch sense circuit, short to ground in PNP switch sense circuit, stuck PNP switch or faulty PCM.
