Camshaft Position sensor A-Bank 1 Circuit Malfunction?

Does this mean that I broke my Timing Belt or is there somthing wrong with the sensor? The car will not start again and it is loosing atifreeze near bottom of seems like water pump! Not 100% sure it is coming from water pump. Please advise. Thanks, Mike at mtxonners@att. Net. Already donated 10.00$ for this question but have not heard a response yet.

Hello

Thanks for the donation.

P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

This code usually indicates that the Camshaft Position sensor has failed. Also inspect the wiring to the sensor however before replacing sensor itself.

Usually there are two holes that the water pump has on it where the coolant can seep out of when the water pump fails.

Thanks for using 2CarPros. Com!
