Engine Mechanical problem
1998 Plymouth Neon 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Car will start fine then about a mile down the raod the engine starts to miss or just die. It does not spit and sputter it looses power and the rpm's drop and there is nothing when you press the gas pedal. If it dies completly it will start afte sitting a couple minutes. Had it in the Garage and they cahnged the Crank Sensor but it is stil dooing this.

Engine misfiring can be caused by worn or fouled spark plugs, a weak spark (weak coil, bad spark plug wire), loss of compression, vacuum leaks, anything that causes an unusually lean fuel mixture (lean misfire), an EGR valve that is stuck open, dirty fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, or even bad fuel. TYo include the following Dirty fuel injectors (cleaning the injectors often fixes this).
Bad MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor
Bad TPS (throttle position) sensor
Bad or dirty MAF (mass airflow) sensor
