1993 Plymouth Acclaim 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

on this 93 dodge acclaim, I have a problem that the numbers 1 and 2 cyl. Missfire. After a few tests. I notice all cyl. Get fuel land spark, but the 1 and 2 have 0 compression, and the 3 and 4 have between 120-125. I removed the valve cover and see the cam moves the valves correctly it seems. Rings, broken or stuck valves or timing seem to be the issue, however, no compression at all in the cyls. Make me lean to broken or stuck valves. Any ideas?

Hi:
You can try a wet test. Put a little oil in the cylender and test. If the rings are bad, this will increase compression. But if you have 0 compression, it sounds more like a head gasket, stuck valve (when you watched the cam, did everything appear to be working?) Of holes in the tops of the pistons.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
