The engine is a 1.6 ltr turbo (110kW, 240Nm), car manufactured in Feb 2008 of Peugeot-BMW design.
How do I access the oil filter to change it? Where is it? It is a paper element unit, I understand, that fits into the engine some where, not a screw on external type. Any special procedures?

Thanks in anticipation for your help.

This engine has a cartridge style filter and is located on the top of the engine.

You will need to look for the cap that I attached the picture below.

I also included a picture of the top of the cap which will give you the location as well. You simply unscrew it and replace the cartridge and the rubber o ring.

As for add another filter, this is not needed. I would just suggest getting a higher quality of filter to replace this one and that will be more than sufficient.

Let us know if you have other questions. Thanks
