The C4 connector is not making good contact with the pins. How can I remove the pins? Is there a tool and tighten the females?

Hello, I am Danny.

Yes, they do make a tool to release the pins from the harness to fix/service. I have attached a picture showing what they look like. This picture is from my Snap-On tTools catalog. Tool trucks (Snap-On, Matco, Mac, Cornwell) would sell them. Not sure about local auto part stores but maybe look on eBay, Amazon? Hope this helps and feel free to ask any further questions if needed. Thanks for using 2CarPros.

Is there tab inside the female pin that I can push down to tighten the pin or not?
How can I make sure I will have a good contact between males and females pins?

Hello again,

Yes, there are tiny tabs that lock the receptacle into connector. You can try using a paperclip to remove them but just be careful not to damage or break the tabs off. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.
