So I recently replace my battery and I need to pass smog. How long do I need to drive the car to cycle it?

Good evening,

You will need to drive the vehicle for about 2 hours. You need to go on a highway and 55 MPH for at least 10-15 minutes. Then increase speed and drop back down to 55. Do this several times.

You cannot touch the brakes at any time or the testing is aborted.

Do this 3 times and then check the monitors.

Gas monitor? Can you post a picture of what you see? There is no gas monitor.

Okay, do the drive cycle I suggested. That should set the catalytic converter monitor.

The evap monitor will run after an 8-hour sit overnight. Start in the morning and drive it for about 5 miles and then recheck the monitor.
