Rolled into parking block

I was on an incline and turned off my parking brake and went to reverse, I guess the car failed to turn over because I was hitting the gas but just rolled forward towards the parking block. I hit the brake but I don't know if I hit it before or after my tires hit the parking block. Anyway my air was blasting so high because its 90 degrees and I didn't hear the engine fail to turn, so I started it once I realized and reversed as usual. I heard a weird noise but wasn't sure if it was my tapping of the gas or the underbelly scraping. I didn't go over the block with the tires, like I said I hit the brake but didn't want to get out to look because putting it in park and lifting my foot off the brake would have rolled it forward even more. I got home and looked under the car, I noticed a few drips of what looks like oil, but keep in mind I just got my oil changed earlier today and I am not sure if they made a mess or if I have a leak. So I looked under there and everything honestly looks the same, nothing is hanging, nothing is loose, and I wiped up all under there so that when I check next time I will know if something is leaking. Let me know what you think, this car is super low. I drive an 2005 Jeep Liberty truck, this is my grandpas car and I am not used to this incredibly low car. Do you think I did any damage, and if so what? Should I take it back to the Valvoline tomorrow and just ask if they can peak at it under the bay?

Hello, I'm Danny.

Well since you just had the oil changed today I would take it back and have them take a look at it and say that once you got home you noticed the oil drip.I'm sure they would look at it for free. Possible the oil filter or oil drain plug could be dripping. If you waited a week or so I'm sure they wouldn't honor anything so go back ASAP. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Alright but what do you think about the parking block? I was on a slight hill and these annoying parking blocks are obnoxious lol. I guess car didn't turn over and I had air blasting so I couldn't tell, the lights on the dash are broken so that wasn't a sign either, anyway I went to reverse but rolled towards the parking block. So possibly whatever is in front of my tires hit it? I didn't really hear any scraping, just heard the car when I hit gas to reverse after I turned it over on my second try. I am going to take it to Valvoline tomorrow but I'm so anal about my vehicles I am going to have a hard time sleeping lmao. Nothing visibly hanging or broken, what do you think?

Hello again.

I don't think any damage was done. Take it back to Valvoline tomorrow and see what they say about the drip. Let me know the turnout. Thanks again for using 2CarPros.

So they said that it's the transmission /oil pan with a slight leak. The guy said tightening it usually stops it, and they also said if it's the gasket it's about $12.00 to replace. So that doesn't sound too scary, but I don't know where to begin. Also the car is so low I can't get under it, I might have to buy a jack but better than paying a mechanic to do something I could. Let me know what you think!
