I keep having a intermittent code of p1682. I have replaced my ignition switch, coils and plugs. What else could be the problem and how do I fix it?

Sorry ASEMASTER6371 is having a technical issue. I have seen this problem before in the shop I would try cleaning the throttle actuator and then clearing the codes to see if they come back. What happens is the coking inhibits the correlation between the computer and throttle actuator which gives you this code.

Here are two guides to help:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/throttle-actuator-service

and

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/check-engine-light-clear-codes

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken
