I don't have a electric fan, I have a mechanical fan. Why am I getting a code?

Good evening,
Correct. The code is for an electric fan but you do not have one with your vehicle.
This sounds like you have a programming error in the software in the ECM. You need to have the ECM reprogrammed to your vin number.
For some reason, the program got corrupted.
You can take it to a shop that has the equipment or the dealer for this procedure.
