My car has a P0717 and a P0301 code. I replaced the TCM valve body and the output speed sensor. I'm still getting the p0717 code and the car shifts fine up to 3rd gear but will not go past that. Just revs very high to build speed. Close to 5 rpms at around 80 mph. Please help!

Here are the codes:

P0717 - Input/Turbine Speed Sensor Circuit No Signal: This code indicates that the input/turbine speed sensor is not providing a signal to the transmission control module (TCM). The input/turbine speed sensor measures the rotational speed of the transmission input shaft. A lack of signal can be caused by a faulty sensor, wiring issues, or a problem with the TCM. Proper diagnosis is necessary to identify the specific cause and resolve the issue.

P0301 - Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected: This code indicates that the engine control module (ECM) has detected a misfire in cylinder 1. The misfire can be caused by various factors, such as a faulty spark plug, ignition coil, fuel injector, or compression issues in that specific cylinder. Proper diagnosis is required to determine the exact cause and perform the necessary repairs to address the misfire in cylinder 1.

We handle one problem per thread so this thread will will fix the P0717 - Input/Turbine Speed Sensor Circuit No Signal which means the sensor is not outputting. Here is the location so you can check it out. I would check the condition of the wiring as well. Check out the images (Below). Please let us know what happens.

Unfortunately, I replaced the output revolution sensor in the diagram and the TCM module which has the input turbine speed sensor on it. I still have the same issue. Any other suggestions?

Does the transmission fluid seem burnt and does the transmission slip? This can cause this code as well.
