Check engine light and code P0496

Hi, my engine light came on. I took it to my local auto part store the scanned it and p0496 code come up twice. I replaced fuel rail sensor an the purge valve. My engine light is still on. What else can I do? Trying to avoid taking to a mechanic. Please help

Where was the purge valve located you replaced?

In the front right side of engine.

Sorry to post so many. I know the purge valve was bad because it would not close. My engine light did go off for a day and the next morning came back on.

It is common for the canister purge solenoid valves to stick open like that. What I would like to see is what the fuel pressure tank sensor is reading with the engine off gas cap off and the key in the run position. That would take a advanced scan tool with live data to read that. I have seen those fuel tank pressure sensors get stuck so it tells the computer there is vacuum to tank when there really is not.
