P0446 code

Recently had this code come up. About six months ago, replaced the VSV valve, so I am guessing that is not it. Also, the engine seems to constantly revs high. I am wondering if this is a symptom of a defective EVAP purge valve? Or what is the most educated guess might be. Gas cap is fine.

Good afternoon.

I attached possible failures for the 446. Do not discount the idea of the canister not being the issue. It is the most common fault for this issue.

As far as the high idle, there is no connection to the 446 code. I would start with cleaning the throttle body of all carbon deposits.
