Code P0090, full interpretation?

Yep, it looks like you have defective part or the electrical connector or is not on completely or there is a bad connection and the regulator.

P0090 - Fuel Pressure Regulator Control Circuit Open

Here is the correct way to replace the part and its location for clarity. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens. Clear the codes once completed.

If the DTC P0090 concern fuel pressure regulator control circuit open. Why does I repair the pressure sensor connector? Is it not the regular connector who must be repaired? Please excuse my understanding. Thank you very much.

The fuel pressure sensor in my car is placed on the common rail. It had 3 wires. The part I replaced is the fuel pressure regulator which is mounted on the high pressure pump.

I would check the high-pressure pump camshaft lobe. These have a tenancy to wear down which will make the engine have no power. Can I ask why you replaced the regulator? Was it because of the code? Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
