Changed camshaft sensor. Runs a little better. When pulling a camper going from 3rd to 4th gear the pedal goes to the floor and RPMs go up. Let off a little and it shifts back and misfires. After pulling the camper maybe 5 miles the truck says engine losing power and shuts off.

Just want to confirm you have the 5.3L engine. If so, I attached the testing below on this issue.

Does this happen when the vehicle is not towing the camper?

If not, I suspect you may have a timing chain issue.

Basically this code is telling you that the cam and crank sensor are out of alignment. Have you had recent repairs to the timing chain? If so, we need to have that looked at again.

If not then most likely the chain has stretched and is in need of replacement.

Please run through this information and let us know if you have questions and we can go from there. Thanks
