When I first went to get the car inspected, I got a p0011 code. I replaced the camshaft position sensor reset the engine light and got a p0012 code. It comes on in no time when the car is just idling. The car does not ever idle rough, it starts up fine, and drives smooth. Any ideas what could be throwing this code?

First thing you would need to do is check your oil level. Low oil level will cause timing codes since oil pressure is used to control timing. If it is okay then make sure the variable timing solenoid connector is not unplugged.

If all looks good then you would need to have the timing checked. Have your mechanic verify the timing belt is properly installed and that the timing marks all line up properly. If all is good then further diagnostic is required by a professional.
