I have oxygen sensor engine light; I'm asking if I need to replace the same oxygen sensor. Or I can use any other oxygen sensor with any other number on it? Can someone guide me please?

Good morning,

The O2 sensor needs to be replaced with the exact sensor called for from the factory. You can't just put any sensor in the car.

Then the light needs to be reset with a scan tool.

Recently I changed an O2 sensor, the readings were also the same, but after driving it for a few miles, the engine light is back on. I’m really tense, what else can I do to fix this?

Can I have the code that is set? That will help me narrow the area of failure.

Okay, can I have the long-term trim for the sensor?
