Had it towed to a repair shop.
Obviously there is a coolant leak that requires repair.
What is the likelihood that other parts of the engine are damaged?

Hello,

Unfortunately, they are pretty good. Usually when an engine overheats what happens is the aluminum cylinder head will warp, causing the head gasket to fail. When the head gasket fails the engine will lose compression in one or more of the cylinders and without compression the engine will not run. This is a fixable condition though. It will require removing the cylinder head(s), having it/them shaved at a machine shop, and replacing the head gasket(s). Here is an estimate of what a head gasket(s) job on your vehicle might cost in the diagrams down below. Keep in mind that labor rates are any where between $100.00 - $175.00 hour, depending on where you live. Please keep us informed as to how everything is progressing.

Thanks,
Alex
