Wont stay running

91 cutlass supreme 3.1 v6. Problem. Car starts and runs good for a short period. Acting like its out of gas.3/4 tank at this time.I hear the fuel pump buzz when I 1st tun the key on. I have cleaned the mass air sensor and did basic checks. When I spray a little start fluid in the air box it fires for a second.I dont have a fuel pressure gauge but I have opened the fuel schrader on top of engine. I only get a little spurt of gas even with the key on. What do you think?T. Regulator, filter or pump how do I test regulator? If the pump is bad is there a access under the rear seat bottom? I have made a small donation. Thanks

Sounds like the fuel pump. Might be drawing too much amperage and causing the relay to fail, starts but wont stay running. Gotta drop the fuel tank out of the car. Dont forget to replace the relay at the same time

Does this car have a low oil saftey sw that kills the fuel pump power when the oil is low?
