1987 Olds cutlass, automatic. Problems starting, smell of gas and gas in air filter, runs choppy also.

gas in air filter or its oil ?

To: BMRFIXIT car is an '89 and has 2.8 V6 fuel injection, gas coming in air filter. Originally thought it was an '87.
