DOOR HINGES

I HAVE A 86 CUTLASS SUPREME 2 DOOR AND THE DOORS HAVE DROPPED OVER THE YEARS I GUESS AND WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS THIS PROBLEM AND IF SO HOW WOULD YOU GO ABOUT FIXING IT. I HAVE THE BUSHING REPAIR KIT I JUST CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHAT PART COMES OFF THE CAR.PLEASE HELP!

I am not sure how the doors compare between yours and my 94 two door but likely they are both large and heavy and prone to the problem. I just loosened the bolts on the bottom hinge and put in an aluminum shimm cleared it right up.

Its pretty much a two person job, 1 to work, 1 to steady the door. The pins must be driven out of the hinge. Beware of the return spring wedged in the hinge there is a special tool to compress and remove it.Other than that once the pins are out the bushings press into the hinge assembly
