I took my 1997 Olds Cutlass Supreme (140,000 miles) in to the shop because the check engine light keeps comming on. The #1 and 4 cylinders are "missing". I had all the injectors replaced less than 2 yrs ago along with new plugs and wires. So far the shop has checked the coil pack, all wires, plugs, compression ect. They still cannot figure out why it is missing. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there,

When is the miss fire happening? All the time? only on accelaration? at cruise? Your mechanic should be checking Injection pulse, ignition voltage, compressions, fuel pressure and check for any vacuume leaks. go back and tell them to try a bit harder.
