BIG OIL LEAK

My car has been driving fine until tonight. It started shaking a little and then smoking. My friend suggested that I needed oil. I put in 2 quarts and it crunk back up but it was still knocking. When I put it in drive, it cut off. I mean everything. No radio or lites. I just got a new battery this year. When I guy tried to jumpstart me, he noticed all of the oil I had just put in, was all on the ground. What is my problem? I have a 1985 oldsmobile delta 88. Please help me. This is my only means of transportation.

Sounds like either. You blew a gasket somewhere. Its the transmisson or you have a leak in the oilpan. But I highly doubt the oil pan leak. I think its something more serious.
