Rumbling noise in front end or trans. Hear more when turning car while on road. Sounds like left side checked wheel bearing found sligh click replaced left side hub no help. Car up on jackstands running, steer side to side hear noise but mostly inside car. Place gear selector in dr, 3 or 2 has rumbling noise changes some moving steering wheel, sounds like a vibration or dull roar. Under car don't hear same noise. Stop car shift to low accelerate don't hear same noise, shift back to DR-2-3 noise returns. Noise changes some as I move steering wheel side to side. Checked axles they seemed tight but didn't pull just grabbed & twisted. Need help.

Decided to swap out the right side hub/bearing using the original from left which I had earlier replaced. As luck would have it that seemed to solve most if not all of my noise problem. Looks as if the noise was being transmitted through to the left or so it sounded. Seems reasonable for the right to be bad, if its ever reasonable to have a wheel bearing go bad, since thats the drive side with out benefit of any limited slip. So now i'll get another hub and replace the right. Fortunately the procedure is less than one hour with a large gear puller and a 30mm socket and $126 at AutoZ.
And so it goes.
