my duaghter was driving her car when the security light came on and her car stopped. what does it mean and how do we turn it off

TRY another key if have one
and also u can turn key on try to start and then leave it on untill sec. light blink turn key off and try agian
it may take three times and about 20 to 40 mins
so make sure battery full and shut off every thing that use power
