I have a 1986 Olds with a 2.5L TBI. If I trickle in fuel, car will start and continue to run as long as fuel is poured in. Fuel pump pressure is correct. There is 12 volts to the red wire at the injector. If I hotwire the injector it sprays and the car will run. The injector draws about 6.5 amps. The check engine light will not come on with the ignition switch on. The check engine light will not flash any codes. The EMC fuse is good. Is the EMC bad? Is the injector load too high? Any help would be good! Thanks in advance.

It sounds like the PCM quad driver for the injection not being grounded to complete the circuit to the injectors

Rasmatazism , thanks for the responce.
Where is the PCM (?) driver and how do I test it? If I replace the EMC will this correct the problem? They can be picked up at a junk yard for $25. I assume it is pulsing the negative side of the injector, since I have 12V to the positive.
