There is a part on my 96 Cutlass Ciera SL, The part is part of the throttle mecanisim. The accelarator cable connects to it and the throttle cable connects to it. It is located between them both, It is just a mettal peice that rocks as you push the accelarator down and pulls the throttle cable makeing the car acelarate. It has a worn spot in it and when pressing the gas pedal down it sometimes makes it reallt stiff whitch cause you to push down harder to pull off from a stop and it makes the vehical jump in respose. I need the name of that part to find it, a dealer told me the part was no longer made but wouldn't tell me what it was called.
