My car recently starting making a clicking noise coming from the engine. It seems to get louder when I idle. I have check the oil level and it is full. Also I have checked the engine while its running and it does not appear to be any of the belts or fans. Any ideas as to what could be the problem?

I would say it is the rocker arms or valve springs hopefull or if you have really bad luck the camshaft or cranks shaft bearing is going out drop the pan and see if the bearings are bad if so and you replace them check the saft and see if it's scored or it would be easier replace the whole engine
