1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass 6 cyl Automatic

Could someone please tell me the exact things that ocur when you have a bad idle air control valve, a bad mass sensor and throttle sensor. I had the mass sensor replaced but my car still quits after I drive it for awhile but it will soon crank and run again. At night or when it cool it doesn't seem to be a problem.

I can explain them to you.

Or you can post back and tell me what is happening, when and what youve replaced and I can help you figure it out. By the way none of your options that you listed woudl cause your problem from what I read in y our post.

Okay when I drive my car for a short period of time it will quit. If I come to a complete stop it will shut up but cranks right back. When I put it in gear it shuts off again but after about 4 tries it will soon crank again and when I drive and come to another stop it does the same thing. Sometimes when I restart the car it will isle up real high then go back down. After the mass sensor was replaced I noticed it was still missing a little bit when I drive but that wasn't the problem cause it's still shutting off.

The vehicle doesnt always rev up when the vehicle is started?

It should only rev up about 1000 rpms at the most.

Could have a bad IAC module, with it disconnected run the vehicle. Does it still die?
