There's a rattling noise coming from under the engine every time I go over even the slighest bump

Hi:
Chances are it is the heat shield around the cat converter. Take a rubber mallot and tap on the exhaust near the converter to see if you can duplicate the sound. Let me know if that is the problem and I'll give you a few suggestions to solve it.
