1997 Oldsmobile Bravada Oil leak

My engine has an oil leak. The oil filter itself is not leaking, but it seems to be coming from the area just to the right of it, if you are facing the truck. Someone suggesting an oil sending unit leak, but am unsure. Just would like to know any suggestions before I hit the mechanic.

That is possible, but it could also be theoil cooler/filter adapter. There is an o'ring and gasket that leaks on those. Best bet is to clean it off so that youcan ID the source of the leak. The oil press sender is on top rear next to the distributor, and can leak down the motor to tehfilter as well
