2003 Oldsmobile Alero code

I have a serios problem I bought a scan tool
and it came up with the code #po300
it misfire on multible cylinders
what does that mean

It means 2 or more cylinders are not getting fire. You will need to inspect all spark plugs to ensure all are getting a healthy bright blue spark and also make sure fuel pressure is correct.

Many things can cause a misfire. The best place to start is the simple things such as the plugs, wires, coil packs. Then you will go on to inspecting the sensors such as the crankshaft position sensor, MAP sensor and the crankcase ventilation system. Also check for vacuum leaks, exhaust system faults and fuel contamination.
