Oil pan gasket removal

How do I get oil pan off so I can replace gasket?

Hello, I am Danny.

I have attached a few pictures showing the steps how to remove the oil pan. Be sure to remove all the old gasket to help better seal the new one. In the picture it shows the torque sequence when installing the oil pan. The bolts are to be torqued to 130 inch lbs. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any other questions if needed. Okay, so I have bolts out pan and it will not come a loose. What did I do wrong?

Hello again.

Make sure you have all the bolts out! Also, you may need to use a putty knife/scraper/pry bar/or similar tool to break free the seal/gasket that is bonding the oil pan to the engine block. Hope this helps and feel free to ask more questions if needed. Thanks again for using 2CarPros.
